The dietary scale is most liberal. Second-class and steerage accommodation is all that could be desired, and the ships are commanded by experienced masters. The Company also charters ships of the highest olass -as required, and vessels are despatched from London to each of the principal ports of the oolony with Btrict punctuality every month. The Company has also ships loading homeward from New Zealand. Arrangements for the passage of friends to and from the oolony, and also for the conveyance of cargo, can be made at the Head Office, Christohuroh, or at any of the Branches in the colony. D.
