Ten minutes after I saw the horse galloping in the paddock, dragging deceased by the wrist with a tether rope. Deceased was on the* ground; I went ' immediately to release him, and with the assistance of Whelan and two other men caught the horse and cut the rope. Deceased waß on the ground quite senseless.
