EXPECTED ARRIVALS.

The Union s.s. BTawea, Captain Kennedy, arrived in the bay yesterday morning at 8.30. The launch Bella went alongside at ©nee, and embarked passengers for the shore, the Sir Donald tendering for cargo, which consisted of 120 Merino rams and 2 bulls, also 30 tons of general cargo. The Hawea left Dunedin at 5.30 p.m. on the 3rd, and arrived at Akaroa at 9 a.m. following morning, discharged 10 | tons of cargo and shipped 3 tons, and left at 11 a.m., reaching Port Lyttelton at 3 p.m. same day ; left again at 10 p.m., arriving at Wellington on Sunday at 5 a.m. ; discharged | at latter port 60 tons of cargo, and shipped 30 1 tons for Northern Ports on Monday, and left same day at 12.30 p.m., arriving here as above. Experienced fine weather to Lyttelton, from thence to Wellington heavy wind and head sea ; from thence to arrival had fine weather. The Hawea left for the North last evening, at 5 o'clock. Mr Leggins is purser for this trip, whom we thank for report and files. The schooner Albatross sails to-day for Wellington with a full cargo of timber, Mr Harris having failed to find a purchaser for the cargo here. The barque Glenlora is being rapidly filled up, and will be a full ship next week. The s.B. Rangatira, Captain Evans, is due here this morning from Poverty Bay, and will leave at 11 a.m. for Wellington. The Sir Donald will discharge to-day, ex Hawea.
