EXPECTED ARRIVALS.

Taiaroa, Captain Wheeler, left Oamaru at 8 o'clock on Tuesday ; arrived at Lyttelton at noon on Wednesday; left Lyttelton on Thursday at 3 p.m., and arrived at Wellington at 1.30 a.m. on Friday; left the same day at 12.30 p.m., and dropped anchor in our roadstead on Saturday "at 10 a.m. She experienced fine weather during the passage. 'I'he s.s. Bella brought ashore the Napier passengers of this boat, besides several others bound Northward. The Three Brothers attended her for cargo. At 4 p.m. the Bella took off the outward passengers, and the Taiaroa steamed on her course about 6 p.m. The s.s. Rotorua, Captain Carey, steamed into our harbor at 10.15 a.m. yesterday from Wellington and Southern ports. The steam launch Bella sailed from the Taupo and took on board the Rotorua's inward passengers. At 12 o'clock noon the launch again left the outer wharf for the Rotorua with passengers and the San Francisco mail on board. We have been kindly furnished with the following report by Mr R. B. Pringle, the purser : — Left Port Chalmers on Thursday, the 18th instant, at 4 p.m., and arrived at Lyttelton at 9 a.m, on Friday, the 19th ; sailed at 10 p.m. the same day, and reaohed Wellington at 1 p.m. on Saturday; left Wellington for at 4.30 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, and arrived as above stated, after a smart run of 18 hours. She sailed for Auckland and dydney at 12.30 p.m. yenterday. The s.s. Taupo, Captain Andrews, left Auckland on Thursday afternoon for Poverty Bay, Tauranga, and this place, and arrived in the roadstead early yesterday morning. The Bella tendered her for passengers and the lighter Admiral for cargo, of which there were some 25 tons. The Admiral discharged 46 casks of tallow and 60 bales of wool into the Taupo for transhipment at Wellington for the home market. After taking on board the outward passengers, the Taupo steamed at 12 o'clock noon for Wellington and Southern ports. The schooner Columbia, Captain Conway, cast off from the breastwork on Saturday and went into the roadstead to await a fair wind, when she will sail for Oamaru. The schooner Crest of the Wave, Captaia Morlem, left the breastwork on Friday afternoon for Pioton; where, we understand, she will take in a cargo of timber for Lyttelton. • The s.s. Fairy, Captain John Campbell, will come off the slip to-day and will take her trial to-morrow (Tuesday). Her first trip, we hear, will be for Gisborne, she having been chartered to take the Napier football team to that port. The schooner Isabella Pratt, Captain Cross, arrived in the harbor on Saturday from Oamaru, after a very fast run of 42 hours. She was brought inside directly on arrival, and in the afternoon commenced discharging her cargo of colonial produce. The s.s. Hawea, Captain Kennedy, will not leave Port Chalmers before 1 uesday next, and arrives here on Sunday. She will leave for Poverty Bay, Tauranga, and Auckland during the morning.
