INow recognised as the T EvDING AND FAVORITE ESTABJ.J LISHMENT in Napier for introducing the Latest Novelties and Newest Styles, for keeping a superior class of Goods in every Department, and selling the best makes at lower prices than usually charged for inferior ones.— E, P ICE & CO. have now the pleasure to state that they have opened out an unusually Large Shipment for the commencement of the Season, twothirds of which have been imported direct from the English and Continental Markjets, and bought at very Low Kates — in faci at Manufacturer's cost — during . the great depression at the end of 1877.. . j | Exposition of Departments — J OUR MILLINERY DEPARTMENT this Season is remarkable for the gance of the PARISIAN BONNETS, while the new styles and makes of HATS are superior in comfort to any yet invented. Hpecial attention must be drawn to;our new shape in Seal Fur Hats ; they are most recherche, and are the Real Golden Seal of the very best quality, warranted to last three seasons. It is well-known that the fashion in Seal Hats is only changed once in three years, and as this is the first season of the new shape, they are guaranteed for that time. The Shaded Real Ostrich Feathers and Tips, in every color, are the best quality ever imported. The Real French Flowers are marvelß of ingenuity in copying from nature. The Hot House exotics are reproduced in every particular but the perfume. We may mention incidentally that the specialty this season for Trimming is a Bird. Anticipating the demand for this extra finish to a Hat or a Bonnet, we cleared the Dunedin market, and have now an assortment of, we think, every variety known to the naturalist, also Wings of the rarest plumage. OUR LADIES' AND CHILDREN'S UNDERCLOTHING, CORSETS, &c, which we import from the celebrated Glasgow House of Tilley and Henderson, are so well known to our customers for quality I of cloth and beauty of finish, that further I comment is needless. On our arrival in Napier in June last, we saw the great want of a really first-class Drapery Establishment — one that could provide the choicest Novelties and the best materials at lower prices than we found prevailing. We thoroughly believe we have accomplished this, and that our friends and the public believe it, is evinced by our having been obliged to obtain extra assistants of the very highest talent in their respective Departments, to provide for the increasing trade we have been fortunate in our efforts te secure.
