NOTICE is Hereby Given, that at a sitting of the Assessment Court for the outlying districts of the County of Hawke's Bay, held on the 2nd May, 1878, it was proved to the said Court that no Valuation List for the outlying districts of the CouDty of Hawke's Bay had been prepared, as required by "The Rating Act, 1876," and that the Judge of the Assessment Court has appointed Edmund Tuke, of Napier, to be the Valuer to make such List, and has fixed Thursday, the 9th May, 1878, as the day fer the completion thereof, and directed that the said List shall be open for public inspection at the Resident Magistrate's Office, Napier, from the 9th to the 18th May, 1878, and that all objections thereto shall be delivered at the Courthouse, Napier, on or before the 18th May, 1878 ; and it is hereby further notified, that a sitting of the Assessment Court for the purpose of hearing objections to the said Valuation List will be held at the Resident Magistrate's Court-house, Napier, on Monday, the 20th day of May, at 11 o'clock a.m. Dated at Napier, this 2nd day of May, 1878.
