I^HE following is an extract from "Le Figaro," under the heading " L'lndustrie Fr.<Bgaise ii Philadelphia :" — "PaßSing on to Brandies, we find the name of Boutelleau and Co., of Barbezieux. This important house, founded in 1849, by a society with a capital of two millions, is known in the United States under the name of Vineyard Proprietors Company, and in ether countries under that of Champagne Vineyard Proprietors Company. Boutelleau and Co., the clever administrators of this Society, established it with the idea of encouraging the sale of the country's produce, whion. forms a considerable figure in the business with the United htates, England, India, and Austialia, nor is it less aßtonißhing that this brand passed immediately in the first line alter Martell and Hennessy. The proprietors of this brand in France are certain persons having a fine produoe of a superior quality. To foreigners, and especially in the Englißh colonies, where they make uso of Brandy as a medicinal leinedy, this brand is particularly recommended by doctors.
