Mails Closk at the Chief Post Office as follows :— For Port Chalmers, per s.s. Jane Douglas, this day, at 3 p.m. For Wairoa, per s.s. Result, this day, at 4 p.m. For Gisborno, Tauransja and Auckland, per s.s. AVanaka, this day, at •! p.m. For Fiji, Sandwich Islands, America, AVest Indies, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, &c. via San Francisco, on Monday, 4th June, at S a.m., per Rotorua. Honey orders and registered letters will close at 5 p.m. on Saturday, 2nd June, and books and newspapers at 9 p.m. on Saturday. For the undermentioned places every Monday and Thursday at 5.30 a. m. :— Clive, Hastings, Haveloek, To Auto, Kaikora, Waipawa, AVaipukurau, Danevirk, Norscwood, Tahoarite, AVoodville, Foxton, Palmerstmi, Wanganui, Taranaki, AVelling-ton and Southern Provinces, &c., Wallingford, Porangahau, AVainui, and Castle Point.
