Mails Close at the Chief Post Office as follows :— For Wairoa, per p.s. Manaia, this day, at 4 p.m. For Wellington, Southern provinces and Australian Colonies, per s.s. Rangatira, this day, at 4 p.m. For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, &c, via Suez and Brindisi, per s.s. Rangatira, this day, at 4 p.m. For Gisborne, Tauranga and Auckland, per s.s. Wanaka, to-morrow, at 4 p.m. For Fiji, Sandwich Islands, America, West Indies, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, kc. via San Francisco, on Monday, 4th June, at S a.m., per Rotorua. Money orders and registered letters will close at o p.m. on Saturday, 2ikl June, and hooks and newspapers at 0 p.m. on Saturday. For the undermentioned places every Monday and Thursday at 5.30 a.m. :— Clive, Hastings, Havelock, Te Aute", Kaikora, Waipawa, Waipukurau, Danevirk, Norsowood, Tahoarite, Woodville, Foxton, ralmerston, Wan "anui Taranaki, Wellington and Southern Provinces, &c., Waliingford, Porangahau, Waiuui, and Castle Point.
