Young lord Glasgow is out of Mr Here's prize mare Young Lilly, bred by Gibson Bros., Tasmania. Sire, the imported horse Lord Glasgow, bred by Weir of Cameruth, Lanarkshire, and imported to Melbourne by Mr David Neabit, and sold to Mr William Morley (warehouseman) for 600 guineas. Young Lilly is out of Old. Lilly ; eire Benledi, who was imported for the purity of his blood. His sire, Ben Lomond, was never beaten in Scotland, and is brother to the celebrated horses The Major, The Colonel, and The General, who were the greatest prize-takers for a number of years.
