POST OFFICE, NAPIER.
Mails Close at the Chief Post Office as follows :— For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, &c. , via Suez and Brindisi, by every opportunity to Wellington, where the mails close on the 4th May. For Fiji, Sandwich Islands, America, West Indies, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, &c. via San Francisco, per overland to Wellington, at 5 a.ni. on Thursday, the 3rd May. Money orders and registered letters will close at 5 p.m. Newspapers and book packets will close at S p.m. on Wednesday, the 2nd May. For the undermentioned places even,' Monday and Thursday at 5.30 a.m. :— Clive, Hastings, Havelock, Te Aute, Kaikora, Waipawa, Waipukurau, Danovirk, Norsewood, Tahoarite, Woodvjlle, Foxton, Palmer* ton, Wanganui, Taranaki, Wellington and Southern Provinces, &c, WallinirforJ, Porangahau, Wainui. and Castle Point. On the other days of the week, mails close as usual, at 0.30 a.m. J. GRUBB. Chief Postmaster. Chief Post Offioe, Napier, April 24, 1577.
