WAIPAWA COUNTY TOWN.

Sic, — The decision of the County Council to make Waipukurau the County town gives great dissatisfaction here. If it is carried out a petition will, before long, be got up to have Waipawa made into a separate county. Mr" Sydney Johnston was elected chiefly by Waipawa votes, and now that he has taken the Waipukurau side, we feel that he has betrayed us and only wish that he may be unseated. Better have an open enemy at once than an unreliable ally. — I am, &c, Waipawa. January 16, 1877.
