The schooner Meteor, Captain J. Trimmer, left Auckland on the 27th November, and arrived at Mercury Bay the following day. Took in 22,000 feet of sawn timber, and left on the Ist December, Called in at several places on the coast, and landed cargo, arriving here at 5.30 a.m. on Tuesday last, tho Cth inst. Experienced westerly winds with fine weather throughout the passago. The Meteor left last uight for Auckland via Poverty Bay and East Coast.
