Sporting. Hampden Race Meeting. MONDAY, DECEMBER 26, 1870. — First Race to Start at 12 o'Clock. HURDLE RACE, of sovs. ; two miles, over six jumps, 3 feet 6 inches. Open to all hoi'ses. Weight not les3 than 11 stone. Entrance 1 sov. HACK HURDLE RACE, of sovs ; one mile and a-half, over five jumps, 3 feet 6 inches. For all horses that have never won an advertised race. Catch weights. Entrance 10s. HAMPDEN STAKES, of sovs. ; two miles. For all horses that have never won an advertised race. , Weight not less than list. Entrance 1 sov. LADIES' PURSE, of sovs. ; ono mile. Open to all horses. Catch weights. Entrance 10s. CONSOLATION RACE, of sovs. ; one mile and a'half. For beaten horses. Catch weights. Entrance 10s. No person will be allowed to enter or run a horse unless a subscriber of 10s. to the fund. Three horses to start in each race or no public money will be given.
