Arrival of the brigantine Esther.
The briganliuo Esther, Campbell, master, left Wellington on tho 18th instant (with a largo miscellaneous cargo), at 3 p.m., with a light N.E. wind, aud rounded Capo Palliser at 10 p.m. the same day, and came to anchor at ITlat Point at 8 a.m. next morning (19th). Discharged part of cargo, and sailed again at noon the same day, arriving at Castle Toint at G p.m., with calm weather. At daylight next morning, the 20th, found tho sea too rough for landing, eo stood off, it blowing a gule ; came to anchor at 3 p m. next day, the 21st. The wind having moderated at 5 p.m., landed cargo, and sailed for Napier at 8 p.m. on tho 22nd, aud arrived in the Ahuriri roadstead at 11 a.m. on the 23rd, entoring tho Iron Pot at noon tho same day.
