Sib,— The Meanee people are; certainly the most ill-used people in the province, judging from the public meefcing; lately held at the Meanee Hall, complaining as they did about good metalled roads ; how. much more should the poor isolated Papakura and Pakowhai settlers, complain, who have no road at all, unless miles ojTa'. river bed jean be called- a road, or, the der serfcs of the, Greater and Lesser Saharacan be called one.
