NOTICES OF MOTION.

FIBST DAT. Mr. Kennedy to move — That the thanks of this Council be conveyed to Capt. Fairohild, for the important service he has rendered to thiß province in recovering and removing tho moorings in the roadstead, lost at the time of the wreck of the ship Ida Zeigler, Mr. Pabsons to move— For a return of all money to the Provincial Government on account of Emigration, with the names of parties owing the same ; also, the names of their sureties,|and that the same be printed. Mr. Dolbel — To ask his Honor the Superintendent whether it is his intention to bring in an Impounding Amendment Act this session. Colonel Lambeet to move — That his Honor the Superintendent will be pleased to cause to be laid on the table a return showing the amount of money received since the Ist June, 1869, to the 30th of April last on account due from immigrants for assisted, passages. Colonel Lambert to move — That a Committee be appointed _ for the purpose of investigating and reporting upon all sums received and disbursed since the appointment of the present clerk on account of immigration, and to . ascertain the amount due to the Province, and the names of tho persons from whom due; such Committee to consist of Messrs. Newton, Eussell, Sutton, and the mover. Mr. Oumond to move — That leave of absence be given to the Member for Wairoa (Mr. Kinross) until Tuesday nest. Eeport to be brought up this day week, Mr. Dolbel to ask His Honor the Superintendent — ■ Whether the iron bridge, ordered by the Government last year to bridge the Waitaha Creek, in the. district of Mohaka, has arrived, and, if so, what has caused the delay from being erected over the said Creek.
