AUCKLAND LIVE STOCK MARKET.
CARET, GILLES, HUNTER, AND CO, Cattle.— l3o head of fat cattle were yarded on Tuesday last, 80 of which were ex Island City, from Gladstone, Queensland. They averaged about 255. per 1001 b. These cattle die exceedingly well. Provincial cattle realized from about 275. 6d. to 325. 6d. per lOOlbs. A few very fino beasts reaching as high as 345. Sheep still coutinue firm ; a nice lot ex Eeera from Wanganui averaging 12s. Gd.
