I JOHN DAVIES ORMOND, Super- , intendent of tho Province of Hawke's Bay, do hereby proclaim that a sale of Crown Lands will tako place at the Crown Lands Office, Napier, on Tuesday, May 31st, 1870, at noon precisely, when the allotments of land specified in the schedule hereunto annexed, except such as may be reserved under tho provision hereinafter mentioned, and which have been duly certified by the Commissioner of Crown Lands on the application of intending purchasers, as being unavailable for agricultural purposes, will be put up to Public Auction at the upset price of ss. an acre, in accord- j anee with the Land Regulations of the 4th ' March, 1853, and the additional regula- I tions for the amendment and extension of the said Regulations recommended by the Superintendent and the Council for the Province of Wellington (Session 2) to the Governor. If at any time during the sale it may appear to the Commissioner of Crown Lands beneficial or expedient for the public service to roserve from sale either of the sections specified in the said schedule, or "to vary the order in which they ace to be put up, ho, is hereby authorised to do so. TAKE NOTICE that I, the undorsigned, Israel Trask, of Meanee, intend erecting a dividing fence between my land and the section abovenamed, in conformity with the Fencing Act of the Provincial Council of the Province of Wellington, Session 1 No. 13, ancl of the Fencing Amendment Act of the Provincial Council of Hawke's Bay, Session 8 No. 7, and I hereby require you to assist in erecting the said dividing fence within 31 days from this date, otherwise I shall proceed to erect the same, and call upon you for payment of one-half the cost of erecting or making the whole of such dividing fence.
