WELLINGTON SHIPPING.
The ship Wild Duck, Ca,jfc. Smith, will finish disch irging her inward cargo at the beginning of next week. The ship Melita is progressing favorably with hor loading wool for London. She has pressed and stowed upwards of 2,41)0 bales, and as it is intended to ship the remainder of the wool impressed, she will mout wicli quick dnspatch. This vessel will take a large quantity of flax, which is being put on board in lirst-elass condition. The barque William Oargill, Capt. Thompson, is alongside the Queen's Wharf, discharging her inwavd cargo from London in ilrst-rat;o order. Ie is anticipated that she will finish discharging during the courso of noxb week. The crew, however, have taken French leave, and are paying a visit to the country. The repairs to the s.s. Tarauaki are beiug pushed forward with the greatest vigor, aud it is anticipated that in less than threo weeks s'ig will be ready to proceed to sea. The Airedale arrived on Saturday with a number of excursionists from Canterbury, and the Phoebe from Nelson, also with excursionists.
