Arrival of s.s. Rangatira.
The s.B. Rangatira left Wellington at 2.45 p.m. on the 16th instant, had variable winds and weather, and arrived at Lyttelton at 2 p.m. on the 17th ; left same day at 6 p.m., and arrived at Dunedin at 8 p.m. on the 18th, having experienced fresh southerly winds during the pabaage. Left Port Chalmers at 5 p.m. on the 22nd, arrived atTimaru at 7 a.m. on the 23rd, left agaia the same day at 8 p.m. Arrived at Lyttelton at noon on the 24th, left again at 7 p.m. the same day, and experienced fresh head winds and heavy easterly swell during greater part of the passage, and arrived at Wellington at 8 p.m. on the 25tb. Left there at 8 a.m. on the 27th, and arrived in the roadstead at 10 a.m. on the 28th,
