The Advance in Wool.—Tho Argus has the following in reference to the rise in the market. It says :—" The favourable intelligence received by the last mail regarding the price of one of our great staples, is fully confirmed by the advices which have just reached us. Au advance of from one penny to three halfpence seems to have been well maintained, and the finer descriptions of wool were stated to be in active demand for export to continental countries. At the.latest date the ; market continued firm, and the sales { would re-open on the 26th of October with aa estimated stock of 120,000 bales,"
