WAIPUKURAU RACES. TO take place on MONDAY, the 27th December, 1869, at 12 o'clock sharp, FIRST RACE. Telegbaph Handicap Stakes.— First horse £8 ; second horse £4* One mile heats. Catch weights. No horse allowed to run that ever won an advertised race. The owner of each horse to subscribe 10s. entrance each. SECOND RACE. Waipukubau Stakes.— Open to all horses. First horse £12 ; second horse £5. The owner of each horse to subscribe £1. Entrance 10s. each. Ij miles. Catch weights, THIRD RACE. Hack Race.— For horses that have not won in the former races., First horse £4; second horse £1. Entrance 10s. One mile heat. CHAMPION RACE, For all winning horses. Distance l£ miles. The owner of each horse to subscribe £1, and £ will be added. REGULATIONS. No race, except three horses start in each race. All entrances and subscriptions to be paid before each race.
