AT a Meeting held in the Exchange Hotel, Havelock, on Thursday last, it was resolved that the ANNUAL RACES and CHRISTMAS SPORTS, should be on MONDAY, the 27th December. The SPORTS proposed are to be a Steeple Chase, Flat Races, and a Trotting Match, with Foot Races, &c. A BALL in the evening, with efficient music, will conclude the Sports, in a spacious room kept for that purpose by the proprietor. ! The Prizes will be decided upon and ad- j vertised as soon as possible. In the meantime, a subscription list will be opened at the Hotel, for defraying expenses. 285 j i - Notice.
