Export of Flax. — The Auckland, steamer, left Auckland for Sydney on Monday last. Among other cargo were 148 bales of nicely dressed flax, and 48 bales tow. ! Anniversary op Province. — The Banks, according to announcement, will be closed on Monday and Tuesday next, the Ist and 2nd November. It will be seen, from another advertisement, that the Provincial Government, more regardful of the public convenience, content themselves with one holiday — on Monday the Ist.
