WELLINGTON.

The trial lasted all day, and the verdict returned was " guilty." Sentence of death was then passed. It is understood that none of the three natives convicted last week will be hung. Dr. Featherston returned on Friday from Rangitikei, after arranging for reserves being allotted to those dissentients whose title was recently admitted by the Native Lands Court.
