THE ORIGINAL CHLORODYNE, invented by Richard Freeman, Pharmaceutist, is one the greatest discoveries of the present age, and is largely used by the most eminent riiedical men in hospital and privato practice in all parts of the globe. It rapidly relieves pain from whatever cause, allays the irritation of fever, soothes the system under exhausting diseases, and gives sleep without producing the distressing symptoms which arise from the use of opiates. Consumption, coughs, colds, influenza, bronchitis, asthma, hooping cough, diarrhoea, dysentery, cholera, spasms, cramps, rheumatism, gout, &c, immediately reheved, and in most cases cured. Conclusive evidence of the value of it in cholera, dian'hcea, and dysentery is afforded by the following from the Right Honorable Earl Russell, who graciously transmitted it, to the inventor of Chlorodyne, Mr. R. Freeman, and to the Royal College of Physicians of London. Extract of a despatch from Acting-Consul Webb, dated Manilla, Sept. 17, 1864 : — " The remedy most efficacious in its effects (in epidemic cholera) has been found to be Chlorodyne, and with a small quantity given to me by Dr. Burke I have saved several lives."
