WAIPAWA.
Thursday, August 12. The Sedgwick Arms hotel [Mr. Couper's] was wholly destroyed by fire this morning. The fire broke out about 3 a.m., and, so rapid was its spread, that tbe inmates had barely time to escape. The stock, and furniture were all burnt ; only the stables being saved. The cause is unknown. We experienced a heavy snow storm this morning.
