The prisoners have been moved to the hulk City of Newcastle, which is moored under the guns of H.M.S. Challenger. A boarding party is kept ready on board, in case of alarm from the hulk. The 95 prisoners are guarded by 45 Ngatiporous. A European guard i 3 being organized. Mr. Booth starts northwards shortly, to bring in other prisoners who surrendered to the frieridlies. Gold quartz finds were again reported on Saturday, causing a perfect furore. It is difficult to say how far these reported finds have not been pickled and planted.
