Messrs^ Wi HcktbH and Co. have to report that at their Newmarket Bale yesterday (Monday) an adequate supply of stock was brought forward. There was a slight decline in the prices of dairy cows and store stock; hut fat stock met with ready sale, fully maintaining late prices, fat sorts obtain* ing a slight advanoe. Beef sold at from 358. to 40s. Sheep were plentiful, and showed a little improvement ; a mixed lot, ex Rangatira, soldfot from 13s. to 17s. 9J.
