The Hawke's Bay Jockey Club Rules will be strictly adhered to. For weights for age, see published Rules. The first race to start on each day at one o'clock precisely. The bell will be rung quarter of an hour beforo each race. Three horses to start in each race, or only half the public money will be given, except in the Cup Race. Second horse to save his stake in each race when public money is given; except the Consolation. All entries to be made undor sealed cover, and to be addressed to the Secretary, at the Masonic Hotel, Napier, on Wednesday, 24th Februarj', 1869, not later than 4 p.m. Age and description of horses, and colours of riders, to bo stated at time of entry.
