A list of the articles and full particulars may be obtained on application o to the Bar* rack Office Cleaning Cesspools and Ashpits, per annum Sweeping chimnieß and Flues, per annum, Washing and Repairing Gamp Equipage and Cap Covers. 1 > All bills for supplies or services for the Military Store, Engineer, Barrack, and Purveyor's Departments, must bo forwarded to Head-quarters for the examination and signature of the head of the department, before payment will be made. Printed forms of Tender, and any further information that may be required, will be afforded on application at this office, No Tender will be accepted unless on the printed form furbished from this office, and duly signed by the Contractor and two sure* ties. All bills will be paid in cash or cheque on a Bank, and no Treasury Bills will be given to Contractors in payment of accounts. Should the Troops be withdrawn from New Zealand prior to or after the commencement of the contracts, no compensation will be allowed to contractors for any loss they may sustain through^being oompelled to keep "a supply on hand. LENDERS will be received at this Office X until Noon of MONDAY, the 18th instant, from persons willing to contract for furnishing the undermentioned Supplies, in such quantities, at such times, and at such places, within one mile of the Barracks at Napier, as may be directed by the undersigned, or by his successor in office, during the twelve calendar months commencing the Ist of April nexfci, PROVISIONS, FUEL, AND LIGHT.
