RUN in the Whaream'a : A distript, known as Button's, situated' at a distance of ninety miles from' Wellington, twenty miles from Maßterton, and fourteen miles from Castle Point, adjoining the' run occupied by the Rev.' J. C. Andrew, arid on the main road to Napier and Auckland, containing about 25,000 aoreß of land,. 18,000 of which are freehold ; bounded on the east side by the Whareama river, on the west by Crown land, on the north by Mr. Greeves' station, and oh the south by the Mangapokia river, and Mr. Canieron's freehold land. -.This fine run has excellent natural bounda« ries, and could be entirely encloaed at a very trifling cost ; a considerable portion consists of splendid flats and bLocks of the richest agricultural land, capable of growing heavy crops of grain, the residue is composed of gentle hilla and slopes admirably adapted for sheep walks. There is abundance of timber in the neighbourhood, and the. country is intersected with natural boundaries, so that the run could easily be divided into large paddocks. , This estate could be easily and advantageously divided up, and laid: off as a small farm settlement, there being a splendid site for a township near the oentre of the run. The population in the district is increasing rapidly, and there is no doubt that town allotments, convenient suburban : sections, and moderate-sized farms would sell readily at remunerative prices. There is, an excellent dwelling-house, outbuildings for farm servants, dairy, cowshed, stockyard, substantial woohhea and sheep pens on the estate, and upwards of 800 acrea of land enclosed and divided into convenient paddocks, all well grassed. BETHUNE & HUNTER Will offer for sale by public auction, at the Exchange, Wellington, on MONDAY, the 28th December, 1868, at 3 o'clock, if not previously sold by private contraot, npHAT very valuable RUN, known as the JL Castle Point<Station, situated at a distance of 100 miles from the city of Wellington, on the main road to Napier and Auckland, containing upwards of 20,000 acres of land j 12,000 freehold, the remainder held under a Government license ; bounded on the east side by the sea, having a frontage of fully six miles along the coast. The south side adjoins the run occupied by the Rev. J. C. Andrew, and is completely enclosed by a strong Bii and seven wire fence ; the west side is bounded by the Whareama River, and the north side by the Tinui River and a native reserve, • , Castle Point is the only port on the East Coast between Wellington and Napier. It forms an excellent harbor of refuge, as vessels can run in and lie at anchor in bad weather ; goods can always be landed ; last season about 400 bales of wool were shipped. There is a considerable population in the district, which is increasing rapidly. Castle Point is the most convenient outlet for the settlers recently located at the Moroa farm settlement. The buildings attached to the station comprise a very large and commodious well built dwelling house, 44 x 32, containing dining room, parlour, seven good bedrooms, storeroom, and large kitchen ; cottage, 24 x 18, containing three rooms for overseer j house, 28 x 19, containing five rooms for farm servants ; large and convenient woolahed, 68 x 15, with wool-preas and shearing-pen ; storehouse, 15 x 11 ; dairy 5 bakehouse j butcher's shop 5 barn, 46 x 17 ; stabiC, 47 x I7j containing six stalls and three loose-boxes ; cow-shed ; calves-house and cart-shed, 24 x 16; fowlhouße ; pig-stye 3 ; boat-house 5 large and well arranged Btock. yard. All the buildings have been erected in the moßt substantial manner, and are in an excellent state of repair. . There are about fifty acres of land in close proximity to the principal dwelling-house, enoloßed and divided up into an orchard well stocked with valuable fruit trees, kitchen and flower garden, and five convenient paddocka, which have all been thoroughly ploughed up and laid down in English grapes. There is also situated at some distance from the before mentioned block of buildings :— One large House, 34 x 26, ocoupied as an Hotel, with Dwelling House, 31 x 12, at-' tached, containing eleven rooms. One large Building, 32 x 15, occupied as a General Retail Store and Dwelling House, containing Bhop and four rooms. One Building. 68 x 16, used as a Wool-store and Stable ; the first named capable of containing 200 bales of wool, One Building, 21 x 14, used as a Blacksmith's Shop. Ouo Building, 32 x 14, used as a Boat-shed, A Block of Land containing about 1800 acres, situated at one end of the Run, has been enclosed with a substantial post and four rail fence, and a good dwelling house containing six rooms, cottage for men, cow-shed, stockyard erected thereon, and two paddocks ploughed up. Shoep, cattle, horses, farm implementa, household furniture, stores, boats, and a great variety of articles can be taken at a valuation. A portion of the purchase money may remain on mortgage for a term of years at the ordinary rate of interest. The farm of 1,800 aoros, the hotel, retail store, smith's shop, and boat-shed, are all lot to roepectable tenants, and produce a fair annual rental.
