Wednesday, Sept. 9. The P.N.Z. and A.R.M. Co.'s steamship Mataura arrived from Sydney at midnight last night, bringing files of Sydney papers containing telegrams of English news received via Suez at Adelaide — the P. and 0. company's steamship Avoca, with the mails, having arrived at King George's Sound on the 28th August.
