A Provincial Government Gazette, published on Thursday last, contains a reprint of the Governor's proclamation, appoint Courts of Petty Session for the Waipawa and Ngaruroro districts ; a return of land sales for July ; and an abstract of receipts and expenditure for the financial year ending 30th June last.
Native Lands Court. — Mr. Munro, accompanied by Mr. Weber and other gentlemen who intend being present, will leave Napier to-day or to-morrow for Wairoa, to hold a Native Lands Court there. The court should have opened on Monday next, but the state of the weather has prevented Mr. Munro from leaving Napier in time. It will doubtless be opened on Tuesday.
