Part of Napier suburban section No. 11, subdivision No. 1, half an acre, with house thereon, £40. Part of town section 274, Hastings-street, 66 feet frontage, £198. Part of town section 296, Hastings-street, 30 feet frontage, with dwelling-house, £72 lOi. Eskdale, block 17, 84 acres. £38. Part of Napier suburban section No. 64, 450 feet frontage to Shakespeare-road, £106 10s. The freehold land at Hakowai, in the estate of E. N. Smith, was run up to £800, but eventually bought in by the mortgagee. Percy Hou^e was bought in at £400. The Royal Hotel, and Sea View Hotel, had no bidding. The other properties, offered under direction of the Supreme Court, fell into the hands of the mortgagees, the bidding not reaching up to the amounts required.
