SUPPOSED WRECK AT THE MAHIA.
A cobbbspondknt writes from Wairoa.— " News just come in from Mahia that the remains of a kauri built vessel with thick planking have been washed ashore on the beatrh. Several of the outside boards are washed up, with part of the stern, thn remains of a bag of flour, some boxes of candles, cask of ruin, case of spirits, cans of paint oil, and a few other articles. No names were to be seen on any of the goods. The wreck appeared quite fresh.
