Greasy Wool. — The Sydney Herald . says : — " Attention has been called to the value of the potash, in greasy wool. Great pains are now being taken to "wash the wool on the sheep's backs, as it is found that clean wool brings a better proportionate price than dirty wool. And as in these hard times for squatters the smallest profit is not to be despised, it is worth whilo to recover the potash, for which I there is a regular demand, and which is more abundant in the.wool of the Merino sheep than in that of any other breed...
