PROJECTED DEPARTURES.
Ahm-iri, s.s., for Auckland, early Mahia, cutter, for "Waimarama, early Agnes, cutter, for Poverty Bay, early Wellington, s.s., for Auckland, 25th instant, Lord Ashley, s,s., for Auckland, June 27 or 28 Maggie, brig, for Sydney, 15th inst. Stuvt, p.s., for Wellington The s.s. Lord Ashley, left Auckland on the 12th instant, at 4*30 p.tn., with iine weather and smooth sea, which lasted throughout, the voyage, arriving in the roadstead at B'3o a.m. on Sunday, The cutter Mahia left this port on Friday evening last, bound for Waimarama, rounded the Kidnappers at midnight, and came to an anchor on Saturday, at 11 a.m., off Waimarama, shortly after which a heavy southerly swell set in, preventing any communication with the shore; at 2 p.m., got under weigh for the Kidnappers, under which shelter was taken at 6 p.m. same day, remaining there until dMO , p.m. on Sunday, when she stood for this port. Arrived in the roadstead at 8 p.m., but, in consequence of the heavy sea running, stood off and on during the night. At 3 a.m. next morning, the wind having failed, was obliged to anchor, the vessel rolling gunwale under, and pitching heavily. At 8 a.m. the chain parted, when the vessel was got undor sail, and ran for tho entrance to the Pot, M'hich was safely reached. The s.s. Lord Ashley, in consequence of the heavy sea, was obliged to get under steam at 5 p.m. on Sunday. She returned to the anchorage on Alonday at 9 a.m., but was uuable to communicate with the shore, so left for Wellington and Southern ports immediately after. The cutter Agues left Poverty Bay on Thursday last, at 11 a.m, ; rounded Portland Island at 4 p.m., with strong northerly wind and heavy sea ; shortly af ter which the jaws of the gaff were carried away, and in consequence had to lay to for the night. At four next morning got undor weigh for this port, arriving off the roadstead at noon: but, in consequence of light winds, did not reach the anchorage iv the roadstead until 5 p.m. She got into the pot noxt morning. The Agnes passed the cutter Betsy, bound north, when off Table Cape, on Thursday last, at 2 p.m. The ship Gertrude arrived in Wellington on the 3rd inst., having on board a large number of passengers, including 19 for this port.
