The Thames Gold Fields. — Wo learn from the New Zealcmd Herald, of the 12tli inst., to hand per Lord Ashley, that the steamer Tauranga arrived with 600 ozs. gold from the Bank of Australasia, and about 300 ozs. from the Bank of New Zealand. A private letter says: — "The II omeward Bound claim wore yesterday crushing specimens in their berdan, the yield of which was splendid. Sixty-seven pounds of stono was crushed, which yielded IT}1 T } oz. to the pouud ; the total of tho (37 lbs being 97 ozs." The barque Kovelty will be the bearer of 1515 ozs. 10 dwts. gold, valued at £3,789, shipped by the Bniilc of Australasia for the Sydney mint.
