ON the 27th June, 1866, Motjbewallah, a Printer, was convicted at the Supreme Court, Calcutta, of counterfeiting the LABELS of Messrs. Cbosse & Biacxwell, London, and was sentenced by Mr. Justice Phear to Two Years Rigorous Imprisonment; And on the 80th of the same month, for SELLING SPURIOUS ARTICLES bearing Labels in imitation of Messrs. Crosse and Blaokweli's, Shaik Baohoo was sentenced, by the Suburban Magistrate at Sealdah, to Two Years Rigorous Imprisonment.
