POST OFFICE, NAPIER.
MAILS CLOSE,— For England, via Panama, also for the British American colonies, the United States, and other countries of North and South America, per s.s Lord Ashley, at the Chief Post Office, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, 29th April, 1868, and at the Branch Otflee, Hastings-street, at 10 am. Money Orders will not be issued after 5 p.m. on Tuesday 28th April. Registered Letters will be received until within one hour of the closing of the mail. Note — Should the Auckland portion of the Panama mail be on board, the mails by the Lord Ashley will . close as above; otherwise, she will not leave until Thursday, 30th April, when the mails will close at same hours. For Tatjbanga and Auckland, per s.s. Lord Ashley, on Wednesday, April 29th, or Thursday April 80th (according to whether the Panama mail for Auckland is on board), at 10 a.m. at the Branch Office, and at 11 a.m. at the Spit. For Wellington and Southern Ports, per s s Ahuriri, on Tuesday, April 28th, at 10 a.m. at the Branch Office, and at 11 a.m. at the Spit. PETER BOURKE, Chief Postmaster.
