Moa's Head. — A private letter from Charleston to Hokitika contains the following information relative to a moa's head which has been turned up in that neighbourhood : — " There is a party of diggers who got a moa's head almost complete. There is one of the neck joints along with it. You would hardly credit the size of it unless you saw it. lYonithe top of the head to the point of the beak is three feet six inches, and the weight of the head is sixty pounds. It is being exhibited in Charleston, the admission being oae shilling."
