Ahuriri, Flowerday, arrived in harbour last Sunday. She left Dunedin on the 14th instant, at 5 p.m., and arrived at Lyitelton next day at G. 30 p.m. Steamed for Wellington on the 16th instant at 430 p.m., and arrived there at 4 p.m. on Friday • last. On Saturday left for this port at 4 p.m., and arrived as above. The Ahuriri loft for Auckland at ■ 4.30 p.m. yesterday. i The s.s. Rangatira left Wellington afc 2 p.m. on Sunday, carrying a strong north-west wind as far as Cape Pal User, when it died away. .She entered the pot at 4 p.m. yesterday. The Kangatira has come here specially tojond wool for Lyuelton, for which port she departs this afternoon. The brig-.iiitino Esther may be expected here at an early date, as she was to leaye shortly after tho liangatira. Tho cutter Grayling left Wairoa on Saturday last, and arrived in the Pot on Sunday evening with a . cargo of 6500 feet of timber, $ a ton of flax, and a small quantity of produce. i Tho origancine Esther arrived in port atSam, on Suuday from Napier, which port she left on the 2nd ' insfc. When at anchor 1 at VVaingaroa, riding on one chain, it came on to blow and the ill-fated vessel drifted ashore and became a total wreck, the crew and cattle only being saved.
