ON" the 27th June, 1866, Moteewallah, a Printer, was convicted at the Supreme Court, Calcutta, of counterfeiting the LABELS of Messrs. Cbosse & Biackwbil, London, and was sentenced by Mr. Justice Jfhear to Two Years Rigorous Imprisonment; Ajid on the 30th nf the same month, for SELLING SPURIOUS ARTICLES bearing Labels in imitation of Messrs. Crosse and Blackwell's, Shaik Bachoo was sentenced, by - the Suburban Magistrate at Sealdah, to Two Tears Rigorous Imprisonment, Caution.— Any one selling SPURIOUS OILMEN'S STORES, under Crosse and Blackwell's name, will be Haul c to the same punishment, and will be vigorously prosecuted Purchasers are recommended to examine all goods carefully before taking delivery of them.
