ON the 27th June, 1866, Moteewalxah, a Printer, was convicted at the Supreme Court, Calcutta, of counterfeiting the LABELS of Messrs. Ceossb & Blackwell, London, and was sentenced by Mr. Justice Phear to Two Years Rigorous Imprisonment; And on the 30th of the same month, for SELLING isPURIOUS ARTICLES bearing Labels in imitation of Messrs. Crosse and Blackweli's, Shaik Bachoo was sentenced, by the Suburban Magistrate at Sealdah, to Two Years Eigorous Imprisonment. Caution.— Any one selling SPURIOUS OILMEN'S STORES, under Crosse and Blackweli's name, will be liable to the same punishment, and will be vigorously prosecuted. Purchasers are recommended to examine all goods carefully before taking delivery of them.
