PROJECTED DEPARTURES.

Blaokwall, cutter, for Wellington, this day Ahuriri, s.s., for Wellington and Southern Ports, to-morrow Lord Ashley, s.s., for Tauranga and Auckland, 29th or 30th inst. Maggie, brig, for Yokohama, Japan, via Newcastle, early Mary Edson, barque, for London, about April 7. Star of the South, s.s., for Hokitika. Wellington, s.s., for Wellington and Southern Ports, April 14

The Sea Gull, brigantiue, left Newcastle, N.S.W., on the 4th instant, at 8 a.m., with light southerly wind, after which light winds from all points of the compass for the eight succeeding days. On the 17th sighted the Three Kings, running down the coast with light northerly wind and fair weather. On the 21st instant rounded the East Cape, and Portland Island on 23rd, anchoring in the roadstead on Tuesday morning last, and coming into the Pot the same evening. The Sea Gull carries a full cargo of coal for this port. The cutter Mahia took her departure for Porangahau and Wellington, carrying a few tons of merchandise for the former and 49 bales wool for the latter place. Tho Mary Edson has now on board 500 bales of wool, out of the 1100 she is expected to take away and her loading is being proceeded with rapidly. The s.s. Ahuriri left Auckland at 6 p.m. on 25th, with fine northerly weather ; rounded East Cape at 8 p.m. on Thursday, arriving in the harbor at 4 p.m. on Friday and at 530 p.m. in the Pot. The Wellington, s.s , advertised to arrive on the 31st inst., will not now arrive till the 13th April, and will steam for Wellington on the 14th, The schooner Meteor, Capt. Stuckey, sailed from Auckland on the 23rd inst. for Napier and East Coast, calling at Tairua to ship 20,000 shingles and 16,000 feet of timber. The Star of the South was to leave Auckland for Hokitika via Napier on Thursday last, the day after the Ahuriri. She may therefore be looked for this day or to-morrow. The schooner Saucy Lass, Capt. D. H. McKenzie sailed from Auckland on the 22nd instant for Mercury Bay, where she will ship 20,000 feet of timber for Napier.
