Ahuriri, s.s., for Wellington and Southern ports, this day. Dolphin, cutter, for Wairoa. Lord Ashley, s.s., for Tauranga and Auckland, this day. Success, schooner, for Waimarama and Lyttelton, this day.

The cutter Dolphin left Napier on the 7th instrmt, bound for Auckland, where she arrived on the 13th inst. On 18th instant took her departure, at 4 p.m., bound for here. On the 20th, in consequence of a heavy Kale, was obliged to bear up for Hick's Bay for shelter, anchoring there same day, where sho remained until tho 22nd, when, the weather moderating, got under weigh for this port. At noon rounded the East Cape, with strong wind from the N. \V. : after which the wind gradually became light. Passed Portland Island at 9 p.m. on Sunday last, and entered the Pot at 0 p.m. on Monday. 'When the Dolphin was at Hicks' Bay the Ahuriri came to an anchor there. The Slar of the South was passed at noon on Sunday. Tho s.s. Storm Bird, Captain Doile, left Wellington 3.30 p.m. ou tho 24th, with light northerly weather, which lasted throughout the voyage. Came to an anchor here at 8 p.m. on the 2*sth, with the English Suez mail on board. The Storm Bird left again for Wellington on Thursday morning last, carrying 94 bales wool. The Star of the South put in an appearance on Tuesday last from Tologa Bay, for which Port she sailed from here on Sunday last, carrying 1300 sheep. She again left, on Thursday last, for Tokomaru, with 1485 sheep and a few tons of goneral cargo. Tho Hero, schooner, bound for Mohaka and Wairoa, took her departure on Tuesday last, with a full general cargo. The Annie, schooner, bound for Mohaka and Arapawamn, left ou Thursday morning. The schooner Queen, Veale, left Auckland on the 17th instant, with a light N.E. wind, arriving at Mercury Bay on the 19th, where she took in a cargo of timber for this port. On Tuesday last got under weigh, with a line northerly wind; rounded East Cape next day at 10 a.m., and Portland Island 12 hours after. Came to an anchor in the roadstead about noon, and arrived in tho Pot at 6 p.m. Tho s.s. Ahuriri, Plowerday t left. Auckland on Wednesday last, at 5.30 p.m., with fine northerly weather, which she experienced throughout the passage i rounded tho East Cape at 4.40 p.m. on Thursday, arriving in the roadstead at 12,30 p.m. yesterday. The Ahuriri will take her departure for Wellington and Southern ports this day. The p.s. Cleopatra put in an appearance yesterday at 2 a.m. Sho left this port for Poverty Bay on Tuesday last, at 1 p.m., with fine weather as far as Portlaud Island, on rounding which, at 1 p.m., encountereda heavy sea and wind from the N.W. Arrived at Poverty Bay at 5 a.m. On Thursday got under steam at 8 a.m.; called at Turanganui at 9, and remained there until 11 a.m., when she left for this port, arriving as above.
