ON the 27th June, 1866, Motbewallah, a Printer, was convicted at the Supreme Court, Calcutta, of counterfeiting the LABELS of Messrs, Cbossb & Blackwbll, London, and was sentenced by Mr. Justice Phear to Two Years Rigorous Imprisonment; And on the 30th of the same month, for SELLING CURIOUS ARTICLES bearing Labels in imitation of Me&srs. Crosse and Blackweh's, Shaik Bachoo was sentenced, by the Suburban Magistrate at Soaldah, to Two Years Rigorous Imprisonment. Caution.— Any one selling SPURIOUS OILMEN'S STORES, under Crosse and Blackwell's name, will be liable to the same punishment, and will be vigorously prosecuted. Purchasers are recommended to examine all goods carefully before taking delivery of them. The genuine Manufactures of Messrs.
