THE TELEGRAPH COMMISSIONER is prepared to receive tenders for the erectiod and maintenance of a Line of Telegraph between Napier and Porangahau, both in the Province of Hawke's Bay. Tenders to state separately the prioe per mile for erection, and the price for the maintenance of the line for twelve calendar months. Every -..tender mu-t , be., accompanied by a deposit of twenty-five pounds sterling as a guarantee of good faith, which deposit will be forfeited by any tenderer if, in tho event of his tender being accepted, ho refuses to take up the contract.
